As you know, Sunday is what I like to call Sunday Runday (as opposed to it’s very popular college students sister Sunday Funday which, according to Urban Dictionary.com is defined:
“By celebrating the “Sunday Funday” you can extend your weekend festivities just a little longer before hanging up your party pants. This day typically starts out with mimosas or bloody marys aka hair of the dog. It then typically continues through out the day until you find yourself wasted by about 6:30ish. Since the “Funday” ends early enough, you can rest assured that you will go to bed aka pass out early enough to be perfectly refreshed for work on monday morning.”
Well- this being said- my idea of FUN was running 12 miles today 🙂 It was 36 degrees this morning so I took full advantage and laced up to go outside! Sadly, I was only able to do 2 miles outside because the roads were NOT plowed and we got hit with a crap ton of snow last night. Sooo no go- I had to resort to the DREADMILL.
HOWEVER THE DREADMILL WAS AWESOME TO ME TODAY! Not only was there a Say Yes to the Dress marathon on but no one was there, it wasn’t 100 degrees, and I kept a very good pace the whole time! I ended my last mile at a speed of 8.4! So 10 miles on the treadmill was completed with a total of 12 for the day, 35 miles for the week. Tapering FTW!
Overall my weekend was pretty great! Friday I went running with Hollie, got groceries and we were going to make quiche but didn’t have time because we were seeing Black Swan at 7. WHICH, bee tee dubs was amazeballs. I am seriously going to watch it online tonight (instead of the Super Bowl…). I got to hang out with my brother and his girlfriend on Saturday and today I’ve just been loungin and getting my work down for the week!
Q- Are you watching the Super Bowl? I don’t even care to watch it for the commercials, I’m not going to lie I could really careless.
Side Note- My super awesome way better at basketball best friend of mine just received Athlete of the Week for a second time this season at her college!! WOOO GO BRITTY 🙂
